From Jungle Canopy in Costa Rica to the Emerald Coast in Sardinia: 100KM for Our Oceans.
This summer, I am trading the Costa Rican canopy for the Sardinian coast to take on a 100KM swimming challenge. Over 90 days, I’ll be covering over 1KM daily to advocate for the global 30by30 target—the mission to protect 30% of our oceans by 2030.
The Mission: As an advocate for our seas through the People & Planet Project at Pura Vida Ecolodge, I’ve seen how local action fuels global change. This swim bridges my two worlds, raising vital funds for Sea Shepherd and Ouirace. From fighting illegal fishing to empowering coastal communities, these organizations are the front line of ocean conservation.
The Challenge:
100 Kilometers: A test of endurance in the Mediterranean.
90 Days: The window we have to make waves this summer.
30by30: Aligning every stroke with the urgent need for 30% marine protection.
Why it Matters: Whether it’s the Pacific waters of the Osa Peninsula or the emerald shores of Sardinia, our oceans are one interconnected heart. We are currently at a tipping point; the "Pura Vida" way of life depends entirely on a thriving blue planet.
Support the Journey: Every donation directly fuels direct-action conservation and community education. Follow my progress as I swim for the 30%, for the planet, and for our future.

Help me reach my fundraising goal for Sea Shepherd's Fit for the Ocean Challenge
I'm taking part in this challenge to support Sea Shepherd and their work protecting marine life around the world.
Right now, our oceans are under increasing pressure. Sea Shepherd works on the frontlines to stop illegal fishing, protect marine wildlife, and defend fragile ocean ecosystems through direct action at sea.
By donating, you're helping protect the ocean and supporting me in completing this challenge.
Every donation, big or small, makes a real difference.
Please donate if you can.
Thank you
